General
What is NVCC?⌄
Navi Visa Consulting Consortium (NVCC) is a professional visa consulting firm based in Kuliyapitiya, Sri Lanka. We specialise in Chinese visas and provide services for all major global destinations. Our team has in-depth knowledge of embassy requirements specific to Sri Lankan applicants.
Do I need a visa consultant?⌄
While you can apply directly, a visa consultant dramatically reduces the risk of rejection by ensuring your documents are complete and meet embassy standards. Our 98% approval rate reflects this. For complex applications or first-time travellers, a consultant is highly recommended.
Can you guarantee my visa approval?⌄
No ethical visa consultant can guarantee visa approval — the final decision rests entirely with the embassy or consulate. What we guarantee is a professionally prepared application that gives you the best possible chance of success.
What languages do you serve clients in?⌄
We primarily serve clients in Sinhala and English. Some team members also speak Tamil.
China Visa
How long does a China tourist visa take?⌄
Standard processing takes 5–7 working days from the date of application submission to the Chinese Embassy in Colombo. We recommend applying at least 3 weeks before your intended travel date to allow for any issues.
What documents do I need for a China tourist visa?⌄
You will need: valid passport (6+ months validity, at least 2 blank pages), one recent passport-size photo (white background), completed visa application form, return flight booking, hotel reservations, bank statement (last 3 months), and travel insurance. Additional documents may be required based on your profile.
How much does a China visa cost?⌄
The Chinese Embassy charges USD 30 (single/double entry) or USD 45 (multiple entry) as the official visa fee. NVCC's service fee is LKR 3,500 for standard applications and LKR 4,500 for work visas. Total costs depend on the visa type and your specific circumstances.
Can I get a multiple-entry China visa?⌄
Yes. Multiple-entry visas are available for business travellers and those with a history of China travel. We can advise on your eligibility based on your travel history and purpose.
What if my China visa is rejected?⌄
Rejection is rare when applications are properly prepared. If your visa is rejected, we analyse the reason and advise on the best path forward — this may include reapplying with additional supporting documents or appealing in some circumstances.
Fees & Payment
How do I pay NVCC's service fee?⌄
We accept cash at our team (fully virtual), bank transfer, and mobile payment (FriMo / Dialog). Payment details will be provided when you confirm your application.
Is the service fee refundable?⌄
Our service fee covers the work done in reviewing and preparing your application, and is not refundable regardless of the visa outcome. The embassy fee is also non-refundable once submitted.
Are there any hidden fees?⌄
No. We clearly state all fees upfront: our service fee, the embassy visa fee, and any additional costs (e.g. courier, medical examination for certain visas). You will receive a written quotation before any work begins.
Process & Timeline
How does the application process work?⌄
Apply online or contact us virtually → Document review by our consultants → Any missing documents requested → Application submitted to embassy → Track status via our client portal → Collect visa or get notified of outcome. See our How It Works page for the full flow.
Do I need to visit your office?⌄
For document submission and collection, an in-person visit is usually required (for certain embassies). Initial consultation, document review, and status tracking can all be done remotely via our online portal.
How do I track my application?⌄
Use our online tracker at navivisas.com/track.php with your reference number, or log in to your Client Portal at navivisas.com/portal for full details and real-time updates.
Can you do urgent processing?⌄
For some visa types we can request expedited processing from the embassy (subject to availability and additional fees). Contact us as early as possible if you have urgent travel plans.
Documents & Photos
What photo specifications are required?⌄
Most embassies (including China) require: 35×45mm, white or off-white background, face covering 70-80% of the frame, both eyes open, neutral expression, no glasses, taken within the last 6 months. Use our free Photo Checker tool to verify your photo.
Can you help me get my documents attested or translated?⌄
Yes, we can guide you through the attestation and translation process for documents that require it. For Chinese visas, some documents may need to be in Chinese, and we have trusted translation partners.
How long should my passport be valid?⌄
Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay. For China, validity of at least 6 months is required. Always check specific requirements for your destination.
